Default British car breakfast and road rally

First Sunday of the month is the local British car breakfast, I don’t make it there as I am know to be a bit of a later riser on the weekends.
Decided to go today as it was at a different venue than normal and they were following it with a road rally type event, wasn’t a race, was more of a set of directions from one place to another with questions about certain things on the way. I had a total
blast! Took us through back streets, and alongside waterways, was about 60 miles , to make a maybe 10 mile trip if you went straight there via a normal highway!
Glad I got out of bed this morning! Weather is gorgeous, car ran flawlessly. Had a breakfast and a lunch away from house!!! Pics of some of the cars that showed up!!!

I can sure get the blast feeli!!! I slept in! 8:00 AM !

Nostalgia hit a bit. the red TD, My only brand new car I ever bought with my money, one in BRG, a 53, while in service in Germany!!!! Bare bones, no heater or radio!!!!

Four Morgans in one spot? I haven't seen four in all of my travels in Canada. That's a nice group of cars.

Wouldja just Look at that Austin Healey 100-6 Roadster!
Husband was driving one of those partially restored (in primer, minimal interior) when I met him. He had put a 289ci Ford into it, to replace the original "Steam" engine 6cyl. with the cracked block, no oil pressure and rock-in-a-can crankshaft.

It was the car I fell for, and then we got short of cash so he sold it to a fella who finished the paint and then wrecked it.

I like the E-type and the blue MkII. Those louvers in the bonnet makes me wonder what else has been done to it...

To be honest I'd have fun driving any one of them.

I peeked through the louvres, saw a big shiny air cleaner in the center!! It’s a lump, couldnt find the owner to ask exactly what it was!! Too many people meandering around!
