For those of you who have a stock transmission that has been acting up and you wish to rebuild it yourself... here is a PDF I found somewhere on the internet.
Personally I would swap in a GM 700r4 behind the DOHC with a kit from John's Cars, - short of lumping the entire drive train - (my personal choice)
Transmissions are not that difficult to repair/rebuild. Just be very clean and take your time.... be sure things are in correct order,...and do not lose the little ***** from the valve body.
If you are in the Seattle area and want a good core ( a bit worn but not busted) for rebuilding,..contact me.
