I have evacuated the system. It will take the first can because its pumped down. The compressor is running. But the system wont take more and the pressures are the same on the low and high side. I an filling through the low side as is necessary. I have never had this situation before. Shop manual suggests leakage in the compressor. Could it be so?

 

Remove the expansion valve and check it for clogs. Chances are the accumulator failed and desicant is clogging expansion.
