My Daimler Double Six 1990 has non-original carpets and the driver one is missing. The trim code is AEE/EE. What color and type of carpets would be close to the orginal?

 

Cristian: are you referring to the fleece overmats? if so, there were originally only 3 mats - one for each of the passenger possitions, but NOT for the driver's position. If you look at this photo you will be able to see the Daimler carpet and the fleece overmat colours with the Doeskin interior; the carpet colour is called Rattan and I believe that this same name is applied to the colour of the overmats (this is from a Canadian V12 Vanden Plas) and the driver's position original carpet:

 

Thank you for the reply and photos! Based on them my car has original three overmats after all. For some reason I was expecting wool and Daimler logos.

 

The only Daimler logo is on the driver’s position carpet mat - you might be able to see it in the photo in my previous posting. The fleece mats have no logo on them.

 

Hi! My 1991 Double Six has four fleece overmats, including the driver position.

 

In that case, the driver’s mat is not original….Sad, but true.
