Hi,
I have the mirror type shown below (Fixed non-adjustable from the inside) on the driver door of my Daimler Coupe (XJC). No matter how I adjust it I can't actually see much of use behind the car. It's positioned very far forward by the A pillar, which leads me to think maybe it should be further back. Has anyone got a picture / details of an original position?

 

you could replace it with a pair of electric mirrors from the Series 3 XJ-6 / Daimler.

I fitted them to my '65 S type too, wouldn't go back to fixed mirrors no sir.

also fitted a Daimler V8 (MK-2) nose grille. Looks awesome!
