Ecu Question
Hi Everyone!
I'm currently looking to buy a 93 Jag xj6 w/ 125k miles from a guy who claims that he fried the ecu in the car trying to direct wire the blower motor to the fuse box or something. Anyways I have a 94 jag with over 300k miles that I love to death! So my question is would i be able to use my ecu in the 93 without having to flash the ecu or doing anything major to it? Both ecus are exactly identical... but would like to hear from a true expert before i plug mine into his car to see if it runs or not.

Hi Mate,
Welcome to the forum.
You have an X300 variant XJ6 so you should post in that section to get relevant feedback and help.

The 93 and 94 model year cars are XJ40, not X300 models (which came out in North America as 1995 models). So the XJ40 list is the one wanted.
