Default euro bumpers

I have seen many pictures of xj's with euro bumpers and think they would look great on my 77 xj6-c. (will post pics when allowed) Does anyone have a current, good source? About how much are they? I assume they are bolt up compatable.

This may have been covered before and a search would have been in order, but being a new member I'm requried to make a number of posts before being granted full status. thanks for your help

No idea where you would get them, but I have seen US cars with what appear to be Euro style.

Although I would think that you would need to do some fabrication work on the supports etc to make them fit.

The US style seems to have a great big girder that we don't have.

Unfortunately, it is not so easy. A while back I talked to someone who had converted his US XJ12C to euro spec bumpers - I don't remember all the details because my eyes glazed over after a while. It goes WAY beyond a bolt up job - a good bit of the front sheet metal/bonnet/grille/bracketry needs to be replaced or modified. Talk to someone who has actually done it before proceeding. Or study the relevant parts book pages carefully - you will be amazed at the differences between the two applications.
