so the HELLA TBB264DB or likes as a flasher unit, I read that pin 31 is negative, pin 49 is ignition and 49a flasher switch out. pin C is 'pilot lamp or lamps' which I take to mean the dash indicator lights.?
assuming this to be the case a replacement part with only 3 pins (but that supports LED lamps as well as halogens) would not work in the 4 pin socket even tho it would fit?
