Default Frozen Front Sub Frame

I have an odd situation I was hoping someone (anyone) could help me with. I just finished a full front sub frame rebuild on my 1984 Series III. Actually, I had to get a replacement as the original one was bent. So, after a month on the bench I got it back in the car and on the ground only to find that the ride height is 3" too high and suspension is frozen solid. Yesterday, I loosened the lower and wupper fulcrum shafts and went for a short drive hoping that would loosen things up; it didn't. The part number on the new coil springs I used checks out, and they even have the same green stripe as the old ones had. Has this ever happened to anyone, or, does anyone have an idea of what's holding her up? Thanks!

Eric
