My glove box is always .5 inches open, even though it is latched. At night I really notice it because the light is on inside the glove box. I have taken it all apart to see how it works and I dont see an adjustment anywhere. If I could move the bar on top of the inside of the glove box back .5 inches or so that would fix it but Id have to drill new holes... is this the fix?

 

maybe the catch in the glove box door frame is reversed?

what happens if you remove the catch? (2 screws), can you close the glove box door flush all around?

 

I will try that, but I can just push the door in and it goes flush...

 

invert the catch to see if that fixes it.
