The back mats are in pretty nice condition, but the front one needs some cleaning and refreshing. Anyone successfully clean these in the past? I searched, but not much popped up on these VDP "****" over carpets.

I am concerned if I just try to wash and dry them at home I will ruin them.

Options???
- Wash in a front loader machine on gentle cycle?
- Dry with a couple tennis ***** to fluff up the fibers?
- Wash then try to comb out the fibers?
- Have professionally dry cleaned?

 

I vote for professional dry cleaning but let's hear what others have to say

Or maybe a professional carpet cleaner? Treat these no different than an old school 1970’s **** carpet.

I was just wondering if there was a DYI method that has worked for others.
