Default Not many... my S1 always get stares from the later car owners

Since my S1 looks mostly stock, except for the XJ 40 wheels and later XJS larger mirrors... the later year Jaguar car owners always stare due to the chrome bumpers... they act really confused.

Mine is a daily driver and is out and about a lot now that it is mostly "finished".

I saw an early green XJ6 yesterday in my greater general neighborhood. I'm pretty sure that it's the same one that I passed on my work commute a couple of months ago. Last Summer I saw an XJS coupe and even an XJS convertible out and about.

i see maybe one , a year, around Austin TX, S1thru S3.

heck i only see XJS maybe 2/3 times a year!

seen a beauty in parking lot last week, White conv. a women driving, said i like your car.

she said "OH THANK YOU, so few people know what it is"

Even here in the UK you do not see series saloons very often. I did use my series 2 as a local driver until three years ago, then I acquired an X300 which has now taken over the trip to the golf club!
