Default How to remove S1 rear door window glass?

Have the four screws out, the door rubber seal removed as needed and the chrome trim pieces hanging off to the side, per the Service Manual.

Need to know from someone that has done this job, how the top metal piece is removed at the rear ... it appears to want to slide forward but
it is also "attached" to the vertical D pillar post when wiggled.

It will not easily lift up nor slide forward... need HELP

A picture of the top metal piece out of the door would be a great help....since there is none in the Jaguar manual.

All I need to do is remove the window glass out of the top to gain access to three of the four screws holding on the waist rubber piece... it is 42 years
old and both side need to be replaced.

Default Service Manual is incomplete

I found two more screws holding the top piece into the door frame. They are located inside the vertical rear post, behind the rubber window guide.

See the first photo...it then will lift upward and off the car door. The second picture shows that there are two descending arms that are held in with two screw each - the other two screws are easily visible on the top of door.
