Default Idle adjustment 87 Vanden Plas 12 Cyl CDN

G'Day, Changed spark plugs now have a high idle. How does one adjust the idle? Thanks

Default

Idle adjustment is by turn the adjuster (looks like a bolt) on the AAV- Aux Air valve---which is at the rear of the engine just below the LH cam cover.

However, if the high idle happened only since changing the plugs you may have knocked something loose causing an air leak...which in turn creates a high idle

Cheers
DD
