ignition assembly
does anyone know how do put it back together?
mine popped out and i couldnt get it back with the right resistance.
should there be resistance if the battery is not hooked up or will the key just turn with ease

Clarify please.
Are you talking about the ignition switch at the back of the key cylinder? It's held in place with a very tiny screw.
Or are you talking about the steering column lock that engages/disengages with the key?Never been there so I'm no help, sorry.
Cheers

the steering column lock. i need to know how to get the contraption (where i put the key in to start the car) back together. the back piece where the wires are connected popped off.
i sodored the brown wire and figured out the right configuration that the center piece sits along with the spring distribution and bering placement..AFTER 8 hours
it was a battle but i persevered in the end. i found it odd that the back piece of the ignition didnt have something to hold it in there tight. if it did it probably broke off when i was fiddling with it.
eventually figured out that unless its secured nice and flush it wont work.
i cleaned up the wire mess from the previous owner. plenty of room and it looks so much cleaner.
still cant find where the purple and black wire plug into the horn????
