Clarify please.

Are you talking about the ignition switch at the back of the key cylinder? It's held in place with a very tiny screw.

Or are you talking about the steering column lock that engages/disengages with the key?Never been there so I'm no help, sorry.

Cheers

Default fixed

i sodored the brown wire and figured out the right configuration that the center piece sits along with the spring distribution and bering placement..AFTER 8 hours

it was a battle but i persevered in the end. i found it odd that the back piece of the ignition didnt have something to hold it in there tight. if it did it probably broke off when i was fiddling with it.

eventually figured out that unless its secured nice and flush it wont work.

i cleaned up the wire mess from the previous owner. plenty of room and it looks so much cleaner.

still cant find where the purple and black wire plug into the horn????

On the right side of the steering column there's a brass "finger" thingy which goes into the column. The wire should attach there
