installing HE V12 in 79 XJ12
I am about to install a HE V12 5.3L into my 1979 XJ12. I would appreciate any advise as to what is required to make it work. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Do you have the ECU and harness for the HE engine?
I'm sure there are a number of differences to consider and contend with but that was the first one that popped into my brain at the moment.
The HE engine you're using came out of what year and model Jag? Does it have Lucas ignition?

No I don't have an HE ECU. I do have a new injector harness, will I have to replace the entire wiring loom?
It has a Lucas ignition, I think it was from a 1984 car and has been professionally rebuilt.
