Default jurid coupling

Did series 1 xj6 cars incorporate a jurid coupling in their driveline? Don"t see one on mine and am wondering if this is giving me driveline vibration above 50 mph.

As far as I know Jaguar didn't begin using the Jurid couplings until the XJ40 came along. Not aware of any Series I-II-III using them.

Cheers

No jurid coupling...known to me as a guibo. In any case vibrations typically are cuased by a notchy u-joints. Also check the center support. Basically you're gonna have to remove the shaft and perform a good inspection.

in rare cases... a balance weight can rust off or the shaft can be dinged or damaged in some other way.
