Default Lucas air flow meter

Hi,
is it possible to adjust the “mixture” screw on the air flow meter without any exhaust meter reading tools?

Sure. You can make gradual adjustments. As you do you should hear/feel the engine respond. You’re looking for the point where the idle is smoothest. Note that this might put you outside of emissions. If that’s a consideration then you would an exhaust meter, yes.

Cheers
