Hi
I have recently bought a 1985 Series 3 XJ6. I am looking for a mechanic to work with over the next couple of years whilst I fully restore the car.
Initially I want the valve clearances set and a few leaks seen to.
Ideally I would like a small independent enthusiast, as they really know how to charge in New Zealand and servicing bills here (for anything) are amongst the highest in the World ($400 to tighten a fan belt at the main dealership).
has anyone got any recommendations?
