Moving 1500 miles

Moved to ND 5 years ago from NM and now moving back. Drove the 82 XJ6 up here . Drove like a Jag should with no problems. Just flew back after driving it back down there. Once again, it was wonderful. They are great road cars. Driving long distances is pure pleasure. 1500 miles in two days and no back pain. And 21 mpg too. 😻

I discovered that when I first got my car, even with all its handling problems. Now that all the faults are fixed, I know what all of you with well sorted cars have been going on about! It's the Most comfortable car I've ever driven!

Great to hear of your experience. These cars have way more plus & pleasure attributes than challenges!

I drive mine regularly on 500 - 2000 km round trips, always a pleasure and always been reliable so far....apart from the time it caught fire 20km from home.
