Obviously, pictures distort a bit, but the difference just seems significant.

[QUOTE=thedugger1;1307855] . Look at the clean up directions on the msds. That's your lightning agent.

I'd say it's the wrong color.

Whenever I get dye from Color Plus it is almost impossible to see a difference.

Cheers

My supplier acknowledged that this was for late 90's "doe skin" leather for Jaguar. According to them, the 80's version was lighter. May or may not be B.S!

I like the color. A sort of metallic brown. Very different from the usual colors you see.

Thanks!
My own opinion, if you're already using Leatherique for the preservative and cleaning, I'm pretty satisfied with their dyes. Used them on everything from old MGs (simple, black is black....) through Lotuses and now Jags. Just snip a piece of leather off the underneath of the seat (where it won't show), send it down, and they will adjust their standard color match.

It may be a slight different shade (my current dye job on my XJ8 is just a touch off...noticeable to me...everyone else thinks it's brand new and fine...), but then, being a natural finishing fabric...there are slight variations, no?

Here is my finished driver seat using the Leatherique dye

the painfully slow Wipers,

everybody's XJ-6 nightmare. That was my first complaint when I purchased my XJ-6. They are slow. You can almost do better wiping the windshield faster by sticking your arm out the window. Well, ok, not really.

SKJAGTECH in the UK told me that the problem is strictly on Left Hand Drive cars, and specifically the distance between the wipers switch wiring and the motor.

So he designed a system of Relays and wiring which I have never done but which you are welcome to if you are handy with electronics.
