Question Hello! A question regarding driveshaft

Just bought a 2005 Jaguar X Type Awd ,after replacing the tires and brakes and getting a alignment I found I have the dreaded drive shaft howl at high speeds and have taken it to Jaguar for confirmation,my question is do I need to fix it if I can live with the noise? What happens if I don't? I bought the car with 79,000 on it, it's a nice car and I love it but it's my winter beater..lol

Hello, James,
I can't help you with your drive shaft question because I'm unfamiliar with that problem. But someone will be along shortly to direct you to the section where you can find help and answers.

In the meantime, Welcome to the forums from ElinorB.

Welcome.

Not sure which car you are having the issue with?. Your profile lists an X300, and that would not have that issue.

I will assume an AWD X Type??.

A simple repost in that area wold get some quick serious answers.

Also add your car details to your Sig via the CP area, and if more than one car remember to mention the car in question in the asking thread, then we can all jump in if we know the answer.
