Hello - I have a Silver/Gray1977 XJ6L and am looking for the location of the paint code. I have found the plate on the left inner fender/wing that has a body number (as well as other numbers), but nothing that I can see that denotes a paint code.

On my 1985 XJ6 there is a stamped metal tag with paint and trim code just ahead of the brace on the right inner wing.
