OK, so I'm now stripping down the 77 Series II, XJ6L getting the garage ready for the 87 XJ6. (the 87, BTW is in GREAT shape. Hardly any rust, MINT interior. Just no motor. Easy fix as far as I'm concerned.)
What parts are often needed on these Series II cars? What should I pull and attempt to sell?
I pulled the dash already. All original guages, wood is good, clear coat is not.
Boot lid is in great shape, so I pulled that.
I'm using the bonnet from the 77 on the 87, as the 87 is dented and the one from the 77 is not.
I pulled the boot lid hinges as I have heard they tend to rot and these are in nearly new shape.
The doors are in great shape, minor rust along bottom edge but no through rot.
Brightwork is in pretty good shape. No major pitting. A little Coke and tinfoil and then some aluminum or chrome polish and they'd be great.
I pulled all the marker lights as they are in great shape aside from one tail light.
Gas tanks are in good shape.
Bumper mains have pitting but not unrepairable. Bumper wings are shot.

Suggestions? Needs?

Let me know, I have pretty much a complete car except for lack of any real metal from the bumper line down.
