Tom,
I searched the UK scale model specialists last night thinking it would be easy to find a Series II. How wrong I was!
Same as Jim, I found several suppliers stocking the 1/18 scale Series I in red but no Series II.
I recall a 1/18 scale Series II being available finished in the colours of a Police Motorway patrol car but no one is listing it now.

Graham,
plenty of S1 around even the right colour, most large makers i've contacted stopped making them even though they still list them.
Jim,
thank you for that, i'll check them out, the price is typical, i did find one in the states but was sold for $180 US.
obviously i have a series 2, i have a web page of jags in Australia, >>>

Well I have one that was made in Italy. Unfortunately being very **** about my car details I see a lot of things wrong with it. The front looks right but the rear they have made a few mistakes. This model of mine shows the older series I straight exhaust pipes when the series 2 had the bent pipes also the radio aerial is on the wrong side. In other words very poorly done model.

BOB,
if the aerial is on the left hand side as you look at the back & exhaust pipes are straight, that's how my real one looks, i'ts been fitted with new stainless exhaust at the rear after the mufflers & i fitted straight drop down pipe extensions (chrome), if you have a link to the place you bought your model it maybe the style i'm looking for, what size is the one you have? i'm after something at least 6" to 10" long....tom

Okay that is the way this one has been put together. I measured it and it is 7 inches long, however in my opinion it is of very poor quality. I will see if I can get a photo of it posted and if you like what you see you are welcome to it. Of course I will require your address and it would be nice if I had an email address for you as well. Old thread, but xjTom may still have a Series 2.
I never found a Series 2 model for my collection, nearest was a Series 3.
But I recently found a Series 2 XJ6 for 3D printing

For myself, I just received a cheap 3D printer for Xmas (Creality Ender 3) and am concentrating first on printing the X350 from that website.
Even if you don't have a 3D printer, it's worth downloading the free Creality software ("Slicer") for better views.

I'd rather have a correct model even if it's a solid one!
Cheers, Chris
Image: X350 in 1/36, I hope to go to 1/18. Needs cleaning up obviously, and I'm just a 3D printing newbie.
X350 in 1/36 scale
P.S. I see prices mentioned of $US180 or £89.99, but I paid $US694 for a new 1/18 Autoart D-Type (Canada) and $US596 for a new Autoart FHC E-Type (Switzerland), coz model shops know they are obsolete.
(and it wasn't my fault...with not much else to do during covid lockdown...)
