Default Searching for a phrase or group of words in forum

I'm sorry to bog down this forum for this question but didn't know where to go for an answer. When I search using the search tool and I put in for instance IGNITION PROTECTION RELAY, I get all instances of each word. How can I search on a phrase to only show those instances with those three words combined together?

Many thanks

you might try putting a Plus + symbol in front
of each word like +ignition +protection +relay or try
putting colons at the beginning and end of the phrase
like "ignition protection relay".

quotation marks or parenthesis ???

Colons and semi colons are other punctuations > As I recall.

Excel and similar use something like @sum(A.B). as a phrase for ther program to come upwith the right formula

Might work here>

Great help! You mean all I had to do is search on "search" to find an answer?!

Anyway quotes worked perfectly. Thanks all.

great! in google you use the + symbol to eliminate
the excess irrelevant junk they love to throw in. That is why I use Bing
