You can use Google Translate. Just paste the link into Google, and select "translate this page", it gives you this:
http://translate.google.com/translat...%26prmd%3Divns
Or like I did, use Google Chrome as your browser, it automatically asks you if you want it translated.

The chrome strip is from the Daimler badged versions of the Series III, I have seen it in the catalogs of SNG Barratt, others might be able to get the part using the part numbers. Welsh Enterprises, Coventry West, XK's Unlimited, Terry's Jaguar.
http://www.sngbarrattusa.com/catalog...gepos=0&back=n
the front fender strip lists for about 75 bucks.

cowboy17, i found the front spoiler from an XJ40, same color as my series III (!) and with a dremel tool, self tapping steel screws, some retainers i fabricated in my garage, one afternoon and a 6-pack, i grafted it on the front of my series III and it looks OEM! can't tell the diff. i think you may find the pics on cardomain under "fat83cat"...just a thought and it only cost me $35 at the local junk yard!!! oh yeah, and $8 for the 6 pack of Guinness! cheers!

bbarcher - wow! small world, whereabouts in san antonio? guess you're familiar with victor's service center! i'm going to have to take my series III there, my usual mechanic is starting to get cold feet working on it! and thankyou for posting the pics...i don't know how to do that.
cowboy17 - thanks for the compliments...and funny you should mention the rims! i can't, for the life of me, find out where they came from, or on what model they were on. i bought them on e-bay about 4 years ago, and no-one seems to know anything about them. can you shed some more light on the subject? where they standard or optional upgrades? BTW, i lost one of the centercaps, i'm at a loss where to even try to find another one! any ideas? i looked at several sites for centercaps, new and vintage, and was going to "mcgyver" a set from something else!
i had seen those links several years ago, but the prices blew me away! actually only thing i am thinking of doing at the rear is a thin strip spoiler for the trunk lid like they sell for the x350. still toying with trying a mesh grill treatment, but i really like my vertical grill vanes (the horizontal ones on my x350 drive me nuts! now on THAT one i'm putting a mesh grill!)

Just right click the pic, select copy image url, then go back to the reply box and press the little button with the mountain/sun and paste the pic url into the box that pops up.
I am familiar with Victor's but have never stopped in there, I like to do my own. Unfortunately my car has never really been more than a project, I tried driving it recently and the transmission leaks very badly so I am considering the next move. Also not sure about the engine, but it does run.
I live on the NW side, Wurzbach/I-10 area. There is another Jag in my neighborhood I have seen in the driveway and early one recent morning I saw it glide by real smooth. Wish I could do that in mine (actually it is officially the wife's car). Sometimes I go to the PicknPull on Applewhite for parts.
You might try posting a link to this thread over on the jaglovers forum, a lot of knowledgeable people there too. Someone might recognize the wheels. I believe they are aftermarket, but may have been installed by a Jaguar dealer when car was new.
