Default SNG Barratt website problem

Hello all. Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the ugraded SNG Barratt website. I am not able to view any illustrations for the XJ6 Series 1-3.

Doesn't matter if I select Series 1,2 or 3 and then select an assembly I get the message "Loading illustration please wait" which disappears after a couple of seconds but no illustration is displayed. The parts are listed on the right OK. I have checked some other models eg XJ40 and the illustrations show OK. I am using Chrome browser but have tried Firefox and Edge with no success.

I sent an email a week ago to their parts enquiry (only email address I could find) but no reply as yet. The big thing I liked about their site was the exploded drawings which helped to identify the correct part. Any help, thank you.

Same for me using Chrome on a Windows 10 PC.
- When using the Edge Browser I get "Blob not found"

Looks like they updated the website recently. A few weeks ago I was looking up parts and seeing illustrations just fine on the old site.

Technology, it's a wonderful thing...when it works.

Thanks for that. I also get "Blob not found". Weird term. I guess I will just have to wait for them to correct it.
Cheers

I spoke with them (UK) last night and advised that I was unable to log in to the site, they explained that they were still having teething troubles so they are aware of things not being right at present. On the positive side I did get a problem that I had resolved so it was a good outcome for me

Thanks for that Robman. That is the beauty of these forums - knowing that you are not alone.

Hello,
Appreciate you pointing this out, we do not appear to have received an email from you. Was this sent via our web or to someone directly?

Never the less our I.T guys are working on fixing these teething issues as we speak and all should display correctly soon. Hopefully you find our new site a much simpler easier to use site for your Jaguar Parts needs!

Apperently the first e mail I sent via the web site did not arrive, due to the time lapse I sent a second and followed up the same day (night for me) and the second email had been found. As stated my query was resolved over the phone by Caroline Norcott very quickly, thanks again Caroline.

It may be simpler to use, but its a huge amount slower, and makes your teeth grind at the moment as you sit there waiting what seems like forever..

Thanks for the response. My email to you was sent from the "contact us" at the bottom of the page while logged onto your UK website. Hope all goes well.

FWIW.....

I generally find parts searching easier and more accurate if I begin with an OEM part number.

You can buy Jaguar parts catalogs in paper or CD form or go online:

https://www.jaguarclassicparts.com/default.aspx

https://www.jaguarclassicparts.com/u...r-vehicle-info

Maybe 'easier' isn't really the case....as it's an extra step. But I have good results that way..... and the parts catalogs have good illustrations and info. You can learn a lot from them.

Cheers

I'm by far from an expert on web sites and stuff.

But, I have a guess that some sites have elaborate designs. I translate those to large files. Many machines and OS's have problems loading them. Mine definitely does. Win 10, but on an older Dell desk top. IE, not known for it's excellence. But, so familiar to me so I stay there.

Example. Loading this site is delayed by the advertisements at the top. Lots of pixels to load....

So, I just hammer away and it works, most of the time.

We took a handle before that goes for the back, weird but the problem is solved

Nous avons pris une poignée avant qui va pour l'arrière, bizarre mais le problème est résolu
