Default V belts for a MK1 carburettor V12

Hi,

I have just snapped the original alternator belt on my Mk1 Daimler Double Six (1973). Does anyone know where I can get a new set of v belts as I expect they are all past their prime.

John

John,

You are NEW, so welcome aboard.

Please visit the "New Members Intro area and do an intro, it is expected, and sits well with us all.

This is a ist of belt numbers from my lists I have for all teh cars I have owned.

Alternator = 11A0850
Air Con = 13A1510 or 13A1500.
Power steer = 13A 1090
Fan = 13A0825.

I would also suggest referring to your car as "Series 1", as the MK1 is a different car and never had a V12, although I did see a V12 in a MK2 once down here, and you reckon yours is a tight fit OOPS.

Default Daimler Double Six (aka XJ12) 1973

Thanks for your response.

It is a Series I and is basically an XJ12 with a difffernt radiator grill. Of course when it was produced it was not called a Series I. I think that came later.

Regards
