Default V12 EGR removal

I was wondering if its possible to remove the egr tubes that run to the back of each carb? For some reason I cannot get one of the joints to thread back together and at this point I'm pretty much done with trying. Either I scrap the system or replace the connections and pipe with a home brew system. I'd have to cap each carb and cap the fitting on the exhaust heat shield. Do I need to retune or rejet the carbs if I do this?

Thanks.

Never done a V12, lots of XK 6cyl engines.

Capping, plugging, simple enough I would think.

Carby retune, I doubt it.
Rejetting, nope.

Unless your market/domain requires this system, ditch it the best way you can. Most of the items to make it work as designed, and that was not the best, are NLA by now.
