And hopefully a paint code number?

 

The paint is so badly oxidized that it is difficult to tell what the original colour was. Have you tried polishing a small section to get closer to the original? It does not look like Regency Red…but it might be….or metallic Maroon?

 

Open the boot. teh paint will not be oxidized there. A far better place t see te original.
