I need to replace the rear shocks. where do you guys get your parts from, I am in Southern Ca.
I can't list a car, as the rear end I am working with is in a Cobra Kit Car built in 1978-1979, and I have no idea what model it came out of

 

I ordered all of my KYB shocks from Amazon. My "parts vendors" list is as long as your arm, if I don't know exactly what I want, I "google" it and research what is available, then pick the part/vendor I think is best. If I was looking for your shocks, it would go something like "rear shocks for 1976 Jaguar IRS". You will get some info for the XJS and XJ6/XJ12 models, but that lets you compare. I would also see if the kit car vendor is still in business and ask them what IRS they used back then.
