hi i have a 1982 S3 that has a trashed interior and there is a deal locally for rearseats, driver and passenger seat off a x308 xjr for cheap. Was wondering if the xjr seats will fit into the S3 anyway? thanks willing to do a little modification but nothing too extreme thanks

 

With these things most people seem to manage to replace the front seats with those from a later model, although mostly from XJ40s. It will be more problematical with the rear seats as the dimensions of the body shell will be different. No harm in trying, of course !
