Default XJ12 S2: Radiator check / cleaning

Hi all
I have a radiator out of the car. Condition is not known (I could never drive the car until now)
Any tips how to check condition of radiator and how to proper clean it inside? Until now I only flushed it with garden hose, but then...? Fill with vinegar?

I have only ever taken mine to the professionals, no exceptions.
Too much messing around, and if it aint clean inside, it aint a 5 minute task to R & R it again.

My guy was a 928 Stuttgart fanatic, so we got on well, but he UNDERSTOOD radiators, and I never had an issue with any, and there were MANY, that he touched. Sadly, he is no more.

Take to to radiator shop for professional cleaning as Grant says.

Everything in the the cooling system on these cars has to be 100% because all the woe begins at 98%

Cheers
