Default XJ12 shopmanuals

Hi
Where can I download a shop manual for a 1987 XJ12 4 door sedan?
I just purchased it this morning.

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XJ6 & XJ12 Series I, II & III forum. Members here with the same model are most likely to know the answer.

Service manuals for the 6 cylinder are linked here in Post #4. Much of it except for the engine of course would be the same as the V12.

Parts manuals for the SIII are linked at Post 21 here, again for the I6:

I'd recommend getting the Jaguar Heritage cd rom JTP1006. It has the full set of SIII service and parts manuals for the 6 and the V12, as wells as SI and SII. I've used it for working on an '87 VDP V12 also. The engine and electrical sections of the XJS manuals for the same time period can also be helpful.

Many of those links no longer work, and one of them triggered a "Malicious Website Warning" in my browser.

This site still works. Download it while you can and perhaps consider a donation to keep it going.

Yes, many of the links are broken and the whole thing is pretty disorganized. Shame the admin who started it hasn't done anything with it in a long time; it has a lot of potential.

I found the JagRepair site interesting, but it conflates original XJ6 and XJ12 with later such as XJ40 though they are vastly different, and most info seems to be for the latter.

Andrew.
