XJ6 Front axle Nut

Hi Guys,

I am a newbie to the forum, I am currently doing some work on a front wheel bearing on my 84' xj6 and was wondering if anybody know what size is the slotted nut on the axle?? trying to get a replacement since the original is damaged...

I don't know what size they are. I do keep them in stock new. $2.03 each. It would cost more to ship them however. Probably, about $8-$9.

Ken, with all due respect, can you not put that nut in a padded envelope and ship it via US Mail for $2.00 ?? Yes ? No ?

I am against making UPS rich. $9.00 to ship a dumb nut by UPS that can be shipped US Mail is absolute highway robbery, and I am not accusing you or Motorcars Ltd., I am accusing UPS.

So here's my advice to jag_84:

contact Mike at SNG Barratt USA. Mike will sell you the nut for around $2.00 and charge you $2.00 to send it via US Mail in a padded envelope. All you have to do is ask him.

Wow! guys I like this forum, David I will take you up on that offer mate!!... will send you a msg with my address. More questions coming on problems with wipers, leeky windshield & heating in my XJ...
