Default XJ6C 1975 horn and windscreen washer motor

Need some help from you guys. I own my car since one month now and i have some small things which need to be sorted but can't find a solution. The washer motor is corroded badly so i replaced it. It wasn't working (old motor). So new motor in. Checked the fuse. nothing. Not a drop of water, no working new motor. Same with the horns. The old ones where not working. so i replaced them with new horn. Checked the fuses. Nothing works. Replaced the relay, nothing. Got a tip about the brake lights. They do work. Fuse near the battery is oke. There is no battery cooling fan/box but the wiring is there. What can be other solutions for these irritation simple things i can't find? Fuses under the dash are fine.

have you tested the new washer motor and the horns directly from the battery?

if they run or work connecting them directly and momentarily to the battery, then the problem is in the wires to and from each component.

you will need to check the wiring for continuity from the horn-push button to the relay, and from the relay to the horn connectors.

same with the wiper washer motor.
