Default XJC V12 on Carsguide

Saw this XJC V12 on Carsguide. 1976 JAGUAR XJS For Sale $18,500 Automatic Coupe | CarsGuide It was mislabelled & lurking amongst the XJS's. So a lot of folk may have missed it. It looks fairly priced, if it's as good as it looks. & if I wasn't already fully committed to caring for too many cars right now, I'd be giving it a closer inspection. Anyway I hope it finds a good home, & if it turns out that I've put you onto a good buy. A bottle of Maker's Mark, as a Finder's fee, will be much appreciated.

I did spot that car on cars guide and noticed it had a 4.2 badge on the boot, didn't even register the fact it was an XJC in the XJS listings........might have been the bottle of red I was sampling.

It is a 4.2 though, 4.2 badge on it. Seller comments say 4.2 as well.

Why, I hear you ask, am I scrolling through XJS's for sale?

Because you never know when one might just jump out and say "buy me". I have been told
You've got to own at least one V12 in your lifetime

All weird. neither an XJS nor a V12. But, seems to be a more than decent 4.2 XJC!!!

A bit pricey, or about right in that market?

Not that I am shopping.....

It's around what the car's worth, for this market. That price is in Aussie Dollars too, which equates to aprox $15K US, The XJC isn't common down this way, & usually demands a premium. So, if this car's as good as it looks, it could even be considered to be a bit of a bargain.
Sorry I missed the 4.2. I'm blaming a late night & a bottle of Red too.
