Yes, Another Lumpy Idle Thread
My 600hp skyline with the old head setup and 280degree cams, and CNC ported, oversized valves etc on a 2.6litre RB26 had the best idle ever! A modern ViPEC ecu helped there too.
I had the ability if I wanted to constantly changed the ignition timing at idle, then 40, then -10 etc, gave it an almost comical idle, but even with specs set to one thing, with those cams alone, and individual throttle bodies, the idle was a thing of beauty

Guess I was thinking more of the heady days of racing in the 50's at Le Mans and Rheims (C & D Types) and Monte Carlo (MKVII)!
