and mixed advice here on the forum, i've gone and got myself this 89 xjs.

not the most perfect specimen, with more than a few cosmetic, electrical, and mechanical issues, but the price was right, it was in the right place, the right color, and wire wheels to boot.

boy was she pretty tooling around the parking lot, and the 12 cylinders hummed perfectly.

thanks to everyone so far for all the helpful information, i'm sure i'll be spending a bit more time here now.
