XJS 1996 convertible 1/4window on driver side stuck and not going down with a roof and not fully closing . Driver seat cannot recline . How to fix please dashev007@gmail.com

 

I need a bit more information.

Did both issues happen at the same time, or are you not sure?

Is the quarter window stuck now, or is it working sporadically?

Is the roof not closing all the way?

I’m afraid I’m not understanding your post fully.

There is a fuse for the seat recliner. (Under drivers side dash, 20A fuse, Position 12.)
The motor for the quarter window may be jamming. You'll be able to tap that motor with a long stick or something and it will work again, but for how long is anyone's guess. I have a post that solved my problem, at least for a few years anyways. Search my posts and you should be able to find it, with photos!!

 

There’s a thermal fuse and relays in the back trunk above battery that you should check also.
