1994 xjs 6cyl fuel pump housing
Hi all,
in the process of replacing the fuel pump in my 94 xjs convertible 6cyl. Starting to put it all back together, but wondered if the fuel pump housing is to keep the fuel pump dry? I realize that some gas needs to get in to reach the bottom of the pump, but is it controlled or is the pump submerged all the time.

The pump is submerged
Pain in the butt replacing pump and bellow on filler pipe .
Heads up on the fuel lines at tank outlets put the clips on outlets before placing Tank in position than push fuel lines on Tank.
