hi all. another question lol. the driverside rear quaterlight goes up and down with the hood when it feels like it. any suggestions of where and what to check or look for? once again thanks in advance

 

This is a common problem and one that I have had to deal with in all of my convertibles.

After many years the armature and brushes in the motors become dirty and begin to lose contact. Sometimes the motors will become intermittent and other times it will fail altogether.

The solution is to disassemble the motor and clean the brushes and armature. Once that is done the motor will behave properly again.
