Default 90 xjs wiring

New to site so be gentle if I screw up. Rebuilding v12 on my jag and in need of under hood wiring diagram and component location diagram. Also looking to rent the head removal plate if someone has one. Located in va and willing to pay shipping. Hate to buy one for possible one time use.

what's the START state of this job. If you have an intact motor/engine bay, what I would strongly suggest is taking lots and lots of photos,,, start in a corner near the fire wall and slowly go around taking a bunch of pictures of different areas. Honestly, I (and many people) can name and (re)locate most everything under the hood. It looks like a lot of wire but it's not so bad.

Completely different story if wires and harnesses are cut of course and COLOR CODE of individual wires are what's needed.

Where you AT with what you are doing or getting ready do?

There is a smart EDiagram (and you should have it) if you really need to get down into the nitty gritty with rewiring things.

Hey Tjag, I just saw your message in which you stated you are rebuilding your 90 XJS. I just might be able to save you some work and trouble, as I have a running "89" V12 from an 89 Parts car. I purchased it for the wiring under the dash in mine. So I have no need of the engine and trans. I'm asking $800.00 for the Engine / Transmission, If you're interested give me a call. 870-349-4417 I'd be more then glad to talk with you. I'm in Northeast Arkansas, near the bootheel of Missouri. I'm sure we could arrange to meet somewhere in the middle. Buying a used one that runs is a hundred times easier, and cheaper then rebuilding one. LOL! Ask me how I know. Hope I can help.

Jack

Its a 90 and just pulled the engine. Ran great but head gaskets gave out. Took a lot of pictures and tagged alot of wires but a few fell off. Also want to git rid of as much of the old smog system and anything else that is not needed. Any ideas would be helpful.,.
have a 04 xj8 that have not had to do anything to and just bought a 83 xj6 that also starting to restore. Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. Where do I find the e diagram you mentioned?
