92 V12 CEL won't go out
92 5.3 V12 I've been working on putting this car back on the road for some time. Replaced plugs, wires, wire harness, fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, cleaned fuel tank and injectors.
My check engine lamp in the dash center won't go out but I read no codes in the trip meter. I had codes in the past that I've fixed and reset. I've disconnected the battery and repowered. No help. In do have a occasional miss on the left bank. A code might help.
What am I missing?
I've tried searching the TSBs. I don't see anything there on resetting the CEL.

OK. I read in the owners manual that if the car is started after a code shows the ecu goes into limp home mode, the cel stays illuminated but the codes don't show. I seems thats what I have going on. I had the battery disconnected numerous times. The cel is still on but no codes. I seems to run well except for a very slight hesitation when accelerating from idle. The owners manual eludes to this symptom as due to limp home mode. How can I get the codes out?
