Default '94-'96 convertible top replacement

In my journey to tastefully modify my '96 to make it my own, I have been mulling over the thought of having a new top put on.

Wanting advice and shared experiences on what it cost others to have it done, and if it was a DIY project for anyone here?

if you like blue look on the Cars for sale section. a guy in new York is parting out his 96 and the top was recently completely redone. Might save you a few bucks.

Thats me... I still have the car and the top is perfect. It has to go for scrap soon so if you want it...now is the time.

I went to Paul's Jaguar in Florida for my 91 top replacement. I was not about to learn & since I never needed to replace a conv top and don't want to learn at this point . Not a cheap job but I guess there's a lot to replace considering headliner, top & bracing plus 10 hrs labor. Figure about $2k. The guy that did the work did a fantastic job, worth every penny, at least to me.
