Car runs fine and I'm really enjoying it but occasionally the voltage gauge (and all other gauges) suddenly drop way down for a split second and then return to normal as if there is a sudden short somewhere in the system. Can't figure out what might be causing this. It's not the electric cooling fan. All the systems seem to work and I don't see any pattern. It will do this a few times every time I drive the car. Doesn't seem to be correlated to temperature (car or ambient). Alternator seems to be charging fine. New battery (did it with the old battery as well - put a new one in given that the old one was 7 years old and thought it was time). Bought the car last November and have driven it about 1500 miles since. 54000 miles now. Absolutely love the car...
