Anyone know how to replace headlight bulbs

Default Anyone know how to replace headlight bulbs

1992 xjs. Sounds pretty basic, but I can't figure it out... Any help is much appreciated...

Welcome to the world of Jaguar engineering. To replace the headlight bulb, you first need to remove the engine and transmission. To do this, start by disconnecting the battery.....

....only joking :-) You gain access to the headlight bulbs through the front wheel arches. If you rotate the wheels onto full lock you will see round plastic panels at the front of the wheel arches. Rotate the locking screw and pull this panel out of the way to gain access to the headlight bulb holder inside the front wing. It's quite an easy job. As usual don't touch the glass of the halogen bulb etc, etc.....
