Default Confused about thermostats

I replaced my t-stats a while back because my originals were totally toast. Im still skeptical of my Advance auto stats that were of different length and would like to to Jaguar thermostats in it.

Problem is I can't find a consistent part number. V12 performance only sells one thermostat, but doesn't list the part number. On Terrys Jaguar parts there are 2 Jaguar brand thermostats listed to fit cars with the same vin and year range, so which is which?

Does the HE just use one type of Tstat throughout the years? If so why are there two part numbers made by jaguar for it?

There were indeed two different thermostats available. EBC3576 opened at 82C and EBC3577 opened at 88C.

It is your choice as to which you want to install.

Cheers,

Allan

Make sure they have the "jiggle" pin.

Or a 1/8 hole that is located top of disc, this is to bleed steam in the system

i think the jiggle pin is just to allow air out of the system when filling. If there is steam in your cooling system then it isn't sealing properly.
