I dont see where you blokes are getting your figure's from, 5 digits for a swap?
Dellows in sydney Aus, sells a T5 kit around $2.5k all you need to find is a pedal box, or modify yours and a flywheel, all up 5k max. I bought the complete package box and all the bits for 2k, pedal box cost me another $350. I have a second motor I will build and set the whole thing up outside the car, then just transplant.

Our trans adapter is a 2x piece designed that is keyed & doweled for easy alignment & install.

We machined it from aluminum.

Jaguars are built CRAZY when it comes to fastening the engine to the transmission, so it gives you a bunch of mounting positions for the adapter & new Trans.

It requires some massaging of the Trans tunnel, but that can all be done with a rubber, nylon, dead blow or rawhide mallet.

The driveline is fairly cheap.

The key is finding what transmission you want (take into account of your vehicle factors, what you want in performance & how much youre willing to spend)

We also will be offering our manual swap kit for the Series 1,2 & 3 XJ's after we're done testing.
